Police Front Counter Closures: Save Pinner Police Station

Pinner Police Station

The Mayor of London vowed to 'ensure the Met is able to effectively respond to the public, including maintaining a 24-hour police front office counter in every borough' during his campaign last year.

Now, less than 18 months later, Sadiq Khan has reneged on this commitment, with plans to reduce the number of front counters across London. This risks leaving residents in both Hillingdon and Harrow without a walk-in service and with crime on the rise in the capital, this is wholly irresponsible.

I am deeply concerned about these plans, and I will be campaigning to ensure that residents in my constituency still have an accessible front counter service. You can follow updates here.
