Save Mount Vernon’s Urgent Care Centre

Mount Vernon

Like many residents, I have been concerned by the information circulating about the possible closure of the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Service at Mount Vernon Hospital. This highly valued local service supports residents in need of urgent, non-emergency care and eases pressure on overstretched A&E departments.

While I have received assurances from the Chief Executive of the Hillingdon Hospitals Trust that there are no plans for imminent closure, I remain concerned about the review of services across the trust that is underway and what it might mean for the future of the urgent care facility.

It is vital that the voices of the community are heard as the review progresses, and I will therefore be campaigning to save the facility. You can follow campaign updates here.
