In September, I launched my Christmas Card Competition, inviting children in primary and junior schools across the constituency to design a card that will be printed and sent to local stakeholders, including schools and healthcare providers, to wish them a Merry Christmas from their Member of Parliament. The theme this year was local wildlife and I am thrilled that so many children decided to get creative and take part.

I would firstly like to thank everybody who entered the competition this year. I was genuinely overwhelmed, not only by the number of entries, but by their creativity. It was a difficult decision to choose one winner, but I am delighted to announce that Aditya Bhandari, Age 8 from Reddiford School designed this year's winning entry, featuring two festive robins, that will be printed on my Christmas card.

I am also delighted to announce four runners up, whose designs will also be featured:

Miriam, Year 5, Hillside Junior School
