When we speak about levelling up, it is crucial that we include education in that conversation. In particular, we must ensure that we are protecting the interests of those specialist groups who are easily left behind. I was pleased to hear of the support the Government is providing to children with special educational needs and disabilities when I questioned them on this point during the recent set of DfE Orals.
