Residents may recall previous efforts to extend services at the Harefield Practice. Currently operating from the ground floor, the practice also has a fully integrated second floor that has frustratingly been left vacant.
This is something I raised with the previous Health Secretary, Victoria Atkins, as well as her successor, Wes Streeting, to request their intervention on.
I am delighted that now, after three years of work, the application to expand the practice into the vacant area upstairs has been approved. This will facilitate an extension of services that will be of enormous benefit to patients in Harefield.
