Following the closure of the Urgent Care Centre at Mount Vernon Hospital last month, residents requiring treatment have been sharing their experiences at having been redirected to Hillingdon and Northwick Park hospitals.
Prior to the closure, I secured a commitment from the Managing Director at the Hillingdon Hospitals Trust to review the overall impact of the decision. This month, I wrote to the Chair of the Hillingdon Hospitals Trust, asking him to outline a plan for this going forward, how the impact will be measured and in what timeframe.
