Mount Vernon

I have written to the Health Secretary, Wes Streeting, to share residents' support for the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Service at Mount Vernon Hospital.

While I have received assurances that there are no immediate plans for closure, I am concerned about the review currently underway of services across the Hillingdon Hospitals Trust and what it might mean for the future of the urgent care facility.

The petition, which is up to 11,500 in under two weeks, is a very clear demonstration of local support, and I have called on the Government to ensure it does everything it can to safeguard the future of the Urgent Care Service.

You can read my letter to the Health Secretary below.
