Residents have understandably been concerned by the news that NatWest will be closing its Field End Road branch in May.
I wrote to the Director of Public Policy at NatWest, Mike Crow, to share these concerns and to seek his commitment to retain both access to cash and banking services. The reply has come from the Executive Response team, and it appears to achieve both saying a lot without saying very much at all. You can read a copy of the reply below.
While it is doubtful that NatWest will reverse its decision, I will be supporting efforts to establish a banking hub in Eastcote. I will of course keep residents updated on developments.
