Police Front Counter Closures: Letter Calling for Consultation

Residents have written to me to express their concerns over plans to reduce the number of police front counters in London. 

Most concerningly, as we have seen in the case of the Urgent Care Centre at Mount Vernon Hospital, there appears to be no opportunity for the public - those who will be impacted by these decisions - to make their views known. 

I have therefore called on the Deputy Mayor for Policing & Crime to ensure the plans are subject to public consultation. You can read that letter below.
