I am aware of just how important access to highspeed broadband is for residents and so I was pleased to be able to join a virtual roundtable with the CEO of Openreach this week. At the event, I was able to raise the concerns of many residents about local areas that are really struggling to access high speed broadband. In particular, I know that Pinner High Street and residential areas in Pinner have been experiencing issues, as well as residents in Ickenham and West Ruislip. I know how vital access to highspeed broadband is for home working and for the development of businesses.
I have been assured that the Openreach team will investigate options once they have received further details from my office and I look forward to hearing from the team about what action they will be able to take to improve the experience of accessing highspeed broadband for residents.
